Welcome to Southwest Church!
We understand that visiting a new environment and trusting someone with your child can feel overwhelming. At Southwest, we take that responsibility seriously. Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and fun environment where your child can learn about Jesus and feel right at home.
We encourage you to explore what to expect and our frequently asked questions so you can arrive with confidence and your kids can jump right into the fun and learning!
What To Expect

Before your child joins us, we'll need to get your family registered! This helps us get to know your family and provide the best possible care for your child. We'll collect some basic information, including contact details, allergies, and any special instructions we should know about.
Want to save time on Sunday morning? You can register your family ahead of your first visit!

When you arrive, stop by our Kids Check-In area! One of our friendly volunteers will help you check in your child and make sure you know exactly where to go.
During check-in, your child will receive a name tag, and you'll receive a matching pickup tag. This helps us keep every child safe and accounted for.
Once you're checked in, a volunteer will help you find your child's classroom, where they'll be welcomed by our Kids Ministry team!

When service is over, simply return to your child's classroom with your pickup tag.
For your child's safety, our volunteers will verify your pickup tag before releasing your child. This ensures every child goes home with the right person.
We can't wait to meet your family and welcome your kids to Southwest!
Questions?
Can I walk my child to their classroom?
Yes! We want you to know where they are and they are in a sake enviroment. A Volunteer will show you the way and help to get your child settled.
How do you ensure the safety of my child?
All of our volunteers that serve with the children are background checked and go through an onboarding process before they are allowed to serve in Kids. We also ensure that only staff, volunteers, and parents with pick-up tags enter the classroom areas.
What if I lose my pick-up tag?
No worry at all. Just speak with the Kid's Staff or volunteers. We'll verify your identity and print a new tag.
What is the sick policy?
For everyone's health, please keep children home if they have had a fever, vomiting, or other contagious symtoms within the last 24 hours.
